Abstract:
Land subsidence caused by groundwater exploitation and drainage is a process of coupling between the seepage field and the stress field. An example based on the model, using the current flow-settlement formula of soil mechanics calculation based on the commonly used step by step, seepage and settlement of partially coupled GMS software SUB model and the current use of drainage caused by COMSOL multiphysics model based on coupling seepage and settlement of ground settlement are calculated. Comparing the results of different methods, it is feasible to calculate land subsidence caused by drainage by COMSOL Multiphysics. The calculated results are more reasonable than the empirical formula method and the SUB model in GMS, which are more consistent with the actual settlement characteristics. The influence of different coefficients of permeability on the calculation of land subsidence is compared with the SUB model in COMSOL multiphysics and GMS. The results further verify the reliability of COMSOL multiphysics for solving the land subsidence caused by drainage.
