Abstract:
In recent decades, with the decreasing precipitation and rising temperature under a background of climate change in the karst areas of northern China, the recharge of groundwater in the karst areas has declined sharply. The climate change has been one of the causes that lead to a series of environmental problems of karst hydrogeology. This article deals with this problems in 3 aspects: (1) taking groundwater systems in karst areas as a unit of measurement, the change and distribution of precipitation in karst areas in northern China are examined; (2) the climate change and its causes are analyzed with statistic methods; (3) the effects of climate changes on groundwater resources in karst area on a regional scale are estimated.
