Abstract:
Based on the physical model established in laboratory and high-density resistance data, a study of water content in the spatial and temporal variation in draining process around underground cavity was made. The experiment results reveal that points at different positions around cavity have distinct resistance differences, the spatial distribution and temporal variations in resistance relative variation rate around the cavity can fit to the draining process in the experiment. The results demonstrate that high-density resistance can reveal the change in water content and the migration of water around cavity in accurate and effective way.
