Evolution of the sedimentary environment in the Qaidam Basin over the Quaternary Period

  • 摘要: 文章以柴达木盆地察尔汗地区ZK2号钻孔沉积物为研究对象,选取古气候替代指标——色度,应用数理统计和时间序列的方法,从色度L*、a*、b*在整个钻孔剖面的变化曲线上,找出特征值,再参照年代数据,划分出不同水平的色度变化区间,揭示了柴达木盆地第四纪以来高分辨率古环境演变规律。
    Abstract: Information indicating environment evolution is recorded in the Quaternary sediments in the Qaidam Basin because of its thick layer and fast deposition.Based on some former researches,a substitute proxiesn,chroma,on a deposition at the ZK2 borehole in the Charhan region of the Qaidam Basin is selected.High resolution in the paleoclimate evolution is revealed.Mathematic statistics and time series are used and characteristic values from the curve of chroma(L,a,b)change is found and different intervals in the chroma curve are measured.
