Analysis of excavation monitoring for the Phoenix International Bookstore in Suzhou

More Information
  • The bored cast-in-place pile with interior support is used for the Phoenix International Bookstore in Suzhou based on peripheral circumstance, geological conditions and excavation depth. Because of approaching the subway station and complex peripheral circumstance, the monitoring design is set up according to related rules. The monitoring items including deep horizontal displacement, decline in groundwater level and subway station displacement are analyzed. Two different lifting and subsidence techniques of three axes agitating pile can be prioritized for waterproof curtain of underground threelayer engineering. Reduce in groundwater level in the first confined aquifer in a small region has little effect on the surrounding buildings. The results is useful for the regional foundation pit design.
