Calculation of the reasonable yield of groundwater of seepage wells

Based on the analysis of the flow characteristics of seepage wells,a mathematic model was developed by adapting the equivalent hydraulic conductivity and the model of coupled seepage and pipe flow for a seepage well.Through the analysis of the hydrogeological conditions,the manner of seepage wells was proposed to develop groundwater in the river valley of Boniuchuan,Shaanxi.Combining the specific hydrogeological structure and related parameters,the pumpage and its composition were calculated by a three-dimensional finite difference method.Considering the 45-days’ zero-flow of the river,the pumpage attenuation of seepage wells was calculated.The newly added reasonable yield was also proposed.
