Assessment of antipollution capacity of shallow groundwater in the plain area of western Jilin province based on GIS

Based on the DRASTIC index system and the actual conditions of the plain area in western Jilin province,the Vector Drawing Function in GIS Software is applied to draw different single index pictures,which form the evaluation cells by the Module of Special Superposition Analysis.The attribute database of GIS is applied to evaluate the antipollution capability of groundwater environment of the plain area in the western Jilin province.The evaluation results are coincident with the hydrogeological conditions of the region.
