Abstract
Aimed at cataclastic structure high steep rocky slope of K93+946~K94+082 section of Meichen highway, the quantitative analysis of stress and strain tendency under kinds of operating mode stage, and possibly appeared destruction pattern and safety coefficient,is calculated by using UDEC discrete element method during stage excavation of side slope,in full research of the site engineering geology conditions. It can be concluded that, the slope is located in the kern of the anticline with the jointing crevasses growth, whose stability is majorly influent by extroversion of part of the rock layers;the path construction excavated to the mountain massif broke the primitive balance, causing the middle of the slope to produce wide-range shear failure area, the whole of which produces circular arc destruction similar to the soil slope;the side slope is basically at the critical steady state after excavation, and big area landslide may be induced if triggered.According to the above,it was pointed out using the reinforced concrete lattic frame beam-anchor bar(cable) to strengthen feet and waists of the slope,to firm rock mass and to strengthen the drainage system, assisted by masonry slope protection and things like such comprehensive measures to be put into effect, which maintains the integrity of first-class highway along the routes and achieves the goal of the slope protection.
