Analysis of groundwater quality in the shallow aquifers in the Huaibei Plain in Anhui

This paper examined the groundwater quality of the shallow aquifers in the Huaibei Plain in Anhui,based on 151 groundwater samples and 26 chemical compositions of the samples. The final comprehensive results show that the chromaticity and turbidity of more than 10% of the groundwater samples in shallow aquifers of the study area are above the standard. The mean pH value of the groundwater is 7. 6,and the water is of the neutral alkaline water. Four water types accounte for 62. 9% of the samples....
