  • Depending on the “5.12” huge earthquake relief work, this paper selected the most severity stricken counties in Sichuan as case study areas. Based on the landslide investigation, landslide inventory and RS imagery interpretation, using the DEM data, ETM+ satellite image and feature dataset, and with the Weights of Evidence method, extracting and mapping of landslide susceptibility evaluation factors and statistical analysis of correlation were completed, and the susceptibility division of the study area was carried out
